If you guys want, I can put up a post for some of the SRT guys to sign up if we're really short.. and I can try the SHO forum as well lol.. although there aren't too many of those guys around.. maybe half a dozen at most in the city :P But I wouldn't be surprised if a few of the SRT guys would like to show up to stomp on some balts lol.. well some of em anyways I know a few of em like going to the track and I think this is a pretty good deal that Chad's got going here.. so let me know either way and I'll get on it if and when u give the go-ahead

well i have some interesting news. found out the army is giving me 2500 when i get up there next week. Soooo. im thinking about taking 1200 of that and paying off the TVS. Hopefully i get get it shipped and find someone that can tune my car in time.

He's a wicked tuner. He did a whole bunch of Cobalts and Ions around here, all of which are the fastest cobalt/ions in alberta

 

Girlfriend is faxing the Sheets in tomorrow morning for the registration I got my cheque so I'll paypall u it on Monday when it clears ^_^

Who tuned you before?

 

James Barlette (think thats how his last name is spelt) from Raven Autosports here in Halifax, NS. Did good job considering we had little time to do it since i had to do my trades course in the army, Gave me $1500 worth of dyno tune timing for free. Spent about 7 hours straight on the dyno that night. Reason why was he tuned lots of cars, but never a 2.0L Cobalt so he was abit in the dark with the tables.

 

I'd still be a bit surprised if he dialed everything in perfectly the first time around. (not knocking him, but these cars really are a pia).

 

yea it wasnt perfect. afr could have been abit better. then we added meth just to get it going...only added 2* of timing, gained 14whp from that tho. But driving normal sucks....issue at 3000rpm that im trying to work out but oh well. But WOT its amazing. But hey, i cant complain...car felt like a new car when i get it done and it was free.

 

2x on the PIA part. Steve and I spent I think like 3-4 hours that day doing my car, and that was with having the tune already done pretty much. He had basically the same set-up as mine and we tweaked his tune for my car. These cars are finicky.

But if anyone can make your car fast (and reliable) its Steve.

You should come even if the trifecta doesn't work! It's gonna be a blast! the putting faces to the names part is really cool. Did that in Edmonton that one Friday. Really nice guys. I'd love to tune, but I don't have a reason to. Maybe next year! There is one trifecta guy I think coming from Mission, BC but having two would make it go faster!
