I would say bring firewood, I haven't and won't get a straight answer on the firewood until I get there on Saturday. I'm pretty stoked though!!

Well guys.....I have been waiting and waiting as long as I could, but I am definitely not going to be at the meet this year. Things are just too busy for me to get the time off of work to get down. Plus with my fiancee moving up here at pretty much the same time, that takes priority over anything else.

I am sure that things are going to be great and go off without a hitch. Make sure to post your pics ASAP!! Especially the ones of Matt (cruisin') drunk on his ass again.

I'm gettin excited too.... But stressed cuz too much to get done on the car before the 18th...

I think now really is a good time to iron out exactly where and what time we are all going to meet. We don't really want to run the risk of running late because everyone gets to deerfoot later than we want. It might be good to add some extra time to meet up so we can rollout on time guaranteed.

I think it would be a really good showing if the Calgary crew was the first to arrive.

btw, are there other groups meeting us in Calgary to rollout, or meeting along the way??

 

I dunno for sure but from what I've heard around towns (st.albert, spruce grove, stony plain, pritty much all of stergeon county) Their is a fire ban (25000 dollar fine apprently) So I'm only gonna guess that we may not be allowed to have a fire, but that can change however if we get some rainy nights this next week.

 

Damn I hope so. Camping without a fire is like......

 

yes we are meeting at deerfoot mall at 8am and leaving deerfoot mall at 8:30 sharp. the medicine hat guys are meeting us there as well. i will be there a little early and hopefully a few other's are there as well so i'm not sitting there by myself that would be ackward. and yes if you are not there by 8:30 we will leave without you as we are meeting the guys in red deer for their departure time.

so to sum up. make sure you gas up either the night before or give yourself extra time in the morning. get your tim hortons before you get there, as we will not be stopping until red deer. any other questions send me a pm or text me 403-816-8502

same here, got to get the tvs, boost gauge, engine mount, rotated tranny mounts all installed and get tuned. Although my header/dp and exhaust wont be here in time

I'm going to shoot for 7:30 to avoid any delays. I'm still worried about other folks in Calgary, and the Hat folks... Not knocking anyone, but that really is a lot of folks to coordinate perfectly all at once...

Have you not talked to ottp about a refund? That was their screw up...

Well now i don't feel so bad... At least you don't have to drop your tranny. I really don't think you need to worry about the upper mount if your getting the rotated tranny's. The drivers side of the engine is still going to torque a bit cuz of the rubber mount under the fuse box throwing a bit more variable into your drive train... With the lower tranny mounts, things like the ingalls and such kinda become unnecessary...

I hope Steve has enough time to tune your tvs. They look like a bolt on but....
