He said he would come if it was "worth his while." I don't know how much these trifecta tunes are going to be in demand. Steve tunes Edmonton, and me Calgary. And from what I understand, the trifecta tunes don't have as much versatility as tuning on the fly with hpt.

I haven't heard from Projekt that he's coming. If he hasn't said so by now, he won't be.

Yup, polishing is an art. It's about finding the right polish... right pads... we all know the B&D polisher is great. I wanna get my hands on one!

I'm just gonna do a once over on mine... clean 'er up. I've got that NuFinish (orange container) wax I've used a couple times, it lasts a ******* long time (the old stuff from three months ago is still there) and touch up a few rock chips and stuff like that. Oh, and get my damn brakes looked at. Passenger side squeals like a pig when they heat up.

It sure is, I just can't see much demand for him; There's only a few cars like me who can't use HPTuners, and I have no desire for his services, just not worth all the hassle to spend a chunk of the meet doing datalogging when we could be doing other stuff.

That and I just dont like the way he conducts business, just a personal gripe.

Or are you referring to the canned tunes?

IDK I guess, my wife bought it for me for x-mas. I finally decided this was a good reason to install it!

13 hours drive one way I'll need it badly!!!

I will agree that having the tuner in person to work on the car is better.

As for trifecta's reliablility, Vince tuned my 2.4 Turbo cobalt at his place in person.

It has run very very well for a year and a half and i have put 30000 miles on the car since completion without any issues.

I know he does good work!!!

captain, any tune wether it be hpt or a canned tune has the potential to blow your motor
