2009 Cobalt SS/TC......COMPLETELY STOCK
OK here's my story.....
I bought this very, very recently. I drove it home 300 miles. It is a very, very fun car to drive. However, it does not fit my needs like I thought it would. It is unmolested and everything works as it should. There are no squeaks, rattles, or thumps. I was a gm tech for a few years 2009-2011. I know these cars pretty well and this is a prime example of a car that was used yet taken care of.
I purchased from the original owner who is an older gentleman. When I say older, he was definitely 65+. To give you an idea of how he drove it, the first set of tires was replaced at 50k miles and the current set was put on at 100k miles. Tires usually don't last 50k miles on sporty cars. I have a stack of receipts covering everything ever done to the car. The only thing not factory on the car is canards screwed to the front bumper (see pics). They are made of carbon fiber and supposedly add down force. I am not a huge fan but removing them would leave exposed screw holes.
Since there's no mods to list, here's specs and service work
-104,960 miles
-NON LSD
-gm all weather mats
-pioneer w/sub in trunk
-solid black interior
-sunroof
-new continental tires 09/2015
-spark plugs 08/2015 (100k)
-coolant flush 08/2015 (100k)
-trans fluid 08/2015 (100k)
-injector service 08/2015 (100k)
-rear pads and rotors 04/2015
-battery 04/2015
-Serp belt 04/2014
-front wheel bearings 06/2013
-ignition and power steering decals done
Imperfections (basically all just normal 100k stuff)
-there are some minor scratches as to be expected
-there is some curb rash on the wheels
-the front brakes have a few thousand miles left on them
My name is Kyle. The car is in Carmel, NY. It will be stored in a garage until it sells. There is nothing to hide with this car. Get in and drive anywhere. Not desperate to sell, I just don't need it. Asking price is $8500 obo 845-519-7756

The look is taking some time time to grow on me. I love the powertrain of the car but the space kills it for me. If I wasn't looking for a daily driver the lack of space wouldn't matter to me

Bump
I just discovered my 3rd car, a 99 Saab 9-3, needs way more work than I originally thought. The Saab is currently sitting outside so I would definitely like to sell the cobalt to free up a garage spot to work on it.
However, if the cobalt doesn't sell shortly, I will probably put it on the road so I can keep some miles off my Tahoe while the Saab is down. That will put the cobalt off the market for 1-2 months as NY takes forever to mail titles. So get it now or it will most likely be off the market for a little while.
Will possibly take trades or a beater plus cash

Any particular reason why I can't edit my original post?
Or any posts over a few weeks old? Kinda sucks that if I want to change something important.......like maybe the price........in my original post, I cant. It would have to be several posts down which is not good as far as a for sale ad goes.
