FS: 2005 Cobalt SS/SC 300+whp
It's finally time to move on and away from the FWD tuner scene. I've had this car for about 3 years and have absolutely no complaints about it but i'm simply ready to move on to a new project.
The car is in excellent condition inside and out, car made 313.40WHP 304.43WTQ
on a dynojet last summer (I have dyno sheet to prove it) and has run a best of 13.3@112mph on street tires. I drive the car around 200 miles per week and it gets an average of 32mpg. I have tuned the living hell out of this car to dial it in to where it is now. The car drives as close to a stock Cobalt as possible with no CEL's, missfires, stumbling etc.
Here is a full list of everything done to the car as well as a few pics. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have about the car, I have absolutely nothing to hide. I am asking $16,000 for the car. The car currently has 55k miles on it. I bought the car with 18k miles and have meticulously maintained it since, nearly all miles are highway.

I'm asking $16,000 for the car, I still owe money on it for the bank so I'm not going to be making a dime on the car. I'm looking to move on to a 4th gen Camaro SS, T/A WS6, Firehawk etc. I'm looking to build a boosted LSX car and want to start drag racing more in the future

If I can't get 16k or close to it I just plain won't sell the car... stock 05's in my area are going for 14k at dealerships so it's worth every bit of what i'm asking IMO. The car is in amazing shape and I'd put it up against many newer SS/SC's... the paint is A+ on this car and the interior is like new... I condition the seats about once every couple of weeks
Thanks to everyone for looking... I might be very slightly flexible on the price but I cannot come down much or i'll be losing my ass to the bank.

one of my favorite ss/sc's. very well maintained car and great choice of mods. Wish I had the money now, but will not until around the end of july, so if its still for sale then I'll hope right on it haha. Good luck with the sale man, the buyer is going to get one hell of a deal.

Thanks a ton for the compliments guys I really appreciate them. As I said before I have absolutely no complaints with this car... I love it but in order to move on to another project I need to move on.
With slicks this car has the potential of running high 12's and is still a daily driver that gets an avg of 32mpg weekly... I don't know of any other car out there with that ability
I have literally nothing to hide with this car, there is nothing I know of wrong with it in any way.

I have absolutely nothing to hide with this car. The car was dynoed at New Era Performance in Rochester, NY on a dynojet last spring. The new owner will get the dynosheet with the car. As I stated the car has trapped as high as 112 on street tires.
2.5" pulley, extremely ported S/C, ported and polished head, progressive meth injection, LS4 tb, header, 3" catless dp, exhaust etc... The base tune that went on the car before my own tweaking and numerous other mods was the same one that netted Paul (BCP Tuning) high 290's in his Cobalt back in the day.
I will not argue about the car with anyone, if you're interested please feel free to come look at the car in person and take it for a drive. Show some money though because I don't hand the keys over for joy rides.

I agree heat soak is a huge issue on these cars and you can tell that when you're on the dyno for sure. I'm running a progressive meth kit on the car with a 70/30 meth to water mixture, Garrett front mount H/E (Cobra/Lightning aftermarket) and the ported s/c really helped out with the IAT's. The car generally doesn't see over 130 degree IAT2 temps after a couple hard pulls.
I am currently looking at a few 4th gen Camaro SS and Trans Am WS6's. I am looking to do some more drag racing in the future and want a car that has more potential... plus i'm just ready to get back into something RWD and V8
