yes when the stage kit does finally come out you can tune around it using hp tuners and i have been told that it will make the car a beast but your talking 550 installed for the stage kit and 300 plus to get tuned with hp tuners, i say go hptuners and when the fuel tables come out it the sst/tc will be ridiculous not that it already isnt tuned

Sorry it was a busy day, let me fix that. I will update the power ratings later.

It is the same part number kit. Tom just needs to update his website. He may wait until the calibration is released. But Tom has it correct, same part number kit is the correct for the Cobalt.

Yes it will.

Your best option is probably to buy the parts and have it retuned by whatever method you want.

Remember this kit turns off the learn down, "nanny minder". It might be a better place to retune from.

Toms a great guy people .... you can trust me when I say he wont screw you over (for those of you that are questioning the Stage 1 kit for the SS/TC). I have bought all of my performance upgrades from him, and have always got a great price / deal. Also, he usually ships things out the day of purchase, and you will get it within a couple of days. Crate Engine Depot is the place to buy all GMPP upgrades.

Lol, who knows what it will be.

2 months I'd guess.

The solstice intake is $375

It comes with a pipe though

The cobalt one is just supposed to be a cone and a box to fit the cone.

Hmmmm......

aftermarket tune makes more power and costs less, however is not warranteed.

stage 1 costs more, makes less power, but is warranteed.

I sure am glad I dont have to make this decision.....

U guys shouldnt bitch. The stage 2 kit for the LSJ was way more expensive!

This pisses me off as well. Its the same sensors used on the HHR & solstice? And all this delay and hanging it over our heads? WTF? I mean I know the flash isnt out yet.......but this is ******* retarded...... I have been selling Chevys for 3 years and am one of their biggest supporters, but this is absolutely ridiculous!

My next question......why cant they use the HHR flash? Oh wait because they get bumped to 290 and we get 280?

U can probly blame it on the government and its CARB emissions standards. The government ruins it for everyone.

I have added a free Ecotec Shirt as long as supplies last when you order the 19212670 Stage kit. Please remember to select your size with your order.

I'm a bit confused. When reading the installation instructions it states the following: Initially, the kit will be available for 2007-09 Solstice GXP and SKY Redline and 2008-09 HHR SS. A kit is in the works for the Cobalt SS and will carry a different part number and will have different kit content. A new air cleaner and turbo inlet duct will be included. So does this mean the kit with number #19212670 is NOT for the 2008-2009 Cobalt LNF engine? Help.
