Anyway, I will just wait and save the extra money from getting the stage 1 now, then upgrading. i"ll just get the stage 2 when it is available.

they also said our cars are 205, I have not yet dynoed but my car has to be running around 210- 220. So with 245 Im think its more like 250-260. Still not that much hp but the kit only cost $640.

Any of this compatible with the 2.2L Eco? I'm already drooling, but at the same time, this will be torture if I can't put stage 2 on my 2.2....

Do you understand what the stage kit is and does? Are you wondering about the reflash?

He probably thinks there are stage kits coming out for the 2.2. Maybe the kit would be compatible if he had the supercharger bolt on?

As for the stage kit im still calling my dealership everyday until the part is available.

parts from the kit would be compatible but the reflash would not the pcms and engines are different.

the s/c kit is the SS S/C kit missing the intercooler heat exchanger and pump and minus the cableless TB....plus it is a 2.2 rather than a 2.0

heres an interesting question[at least i think so!..lol]..the gm kits are being advertised for the"2005,2006 saturn ion redline and cobalt ss s/c""....hmmm what about us lowly 2004 redline owners with the identical engine to the 2005/2006,will the upgrade kits fit my car??.is there something about the 2004 s/c engine[codes/computer etc] that would prevent the fitting of the upgrade kits?..im especially interested because my wife works for a chevy dealership[employee discount!..cost plus 5%!]..please let me know....the dealership does not know at this point...thanks..colm.

no there are 3 reflashes available for the redline 2004,5,6 so yes you can use them.
The kit is used on the 04's no problem...
