New braking parts have arrived!
2.0L SS S/C & 2.4L model owners with rear dics can enjoy the awesome new Power Slot front and rear rotors and Hawk HPS pads. Some of the best pads on the market IMHO.
Pads?

Rear:

Rotors

Package??!?

The shipping is included in the package and that is the final price. It may be adjusted, but I am not sure just yet.
Roughly, how we estimated it you would pay $450 for the parts....shipping accross country in the worst case scenario would be about $70 or so. This saves you about $30 overall. Why? Because $20 immediatley AND the $10 off for odering online.
Example to my old house in NY: 14216.......
cost with the package $491
cost with all the individual parts $449 AND $58.57 to ship which equals $507.87
Let's do one more zip for more effect: 91702
cost with the package $491
ost with all the individual parts $449 AND $72.21 to ship which equals $521.21
Your still making out ahead.

well the 2.4 ss and the 2.0 ss have the same exact braking system. and im curious why on the front pads it says with rear drums. that wont work for us cuz the 2.2 cobalt with the rear drums does have a different braking system.

Balts w/ rear drums thickness front pads is .690
tech drawing:
Balts w/ rear discs thickness in front pads is .740
Reference: http://www.hawkperformance.com/parts...d+Parts+%3E%3E
That would constitute a different pad IMO.
Hawk part number break down:
Different shape pads and thickness even breaking down the part numbers.
Front w/ Rear Drum: HB517F.690
Front w/ Rear Disc: HB524F.740
I would verify again with another GM tech and/or place.
