INTENSE Cobalt hits the 12's!!!
What a night!!! I learned allot today and as you can tell, it was worth it!! FINALLY, the car is performing to it's potential!
We’ve only made a few small changes since last month’s 13.4x run. And only ONE change since yesterday's 13.27@104 run!!!!
The polyurethane control arm bushings made a significant improvement in controlling the wheelhop, and I am able to launch much harder than ever before. This helped bring the 60’ times down, which have a HUGE impact on quarter mile times. With all other factors being equal, reducing your 60’ time from 2.10 to 1.82 seconds (0.28 second) will drop your quarter mile time by approximately double that amount (0.56 second). These control arm bushings are available now through JBP in Canada, INTENSE in the U.S., or we can even install them for you at our place in Indianapolis.
We’re continuing to learn a lot more about the PCM’s and sensors in these cars, and we’ve made some small changes that allowed us to get a better handle on the air/fuel curve. These adjustments made an immediate improvement in our top end power, bringing the trap speed up from 104 MPH to 106 MPH, pass after pass. Please understand that competitive reasons prevent us from providing any more details about the specific tuning changes that were made at this time. Rest assured though that the entire community will benefit in the coming weeks as Hoosier Performance and INTENSE-Racing continue to work together to make the most of these great cars.

Thanks guys, sorry to keep you waiting!! The car ran 106mph most of the runs tonight. Worse pass was 13.3, MANY 13.1 passes! What a night!! Beat a couple of trailer'd in race cars!!
Best thing is, overall drivibility and power thruout the power band is improved!!

Sick times man!!!! I have one question though. I know you have been experimenting with like 2.5 inch pulleys and crazy stuff like that. Were these runs done on the 2.8 inch pulley? or did you put one of those crazy 2.5's on there?
