im running a GMPP clutch now for 3 years and its seen E47 for two summers and then 93 for a solid year or so and it still holds for me so youll def be good with that clutch man! make sure you do a new OEM flywheel, you can even use the LSJ flywheel and then get a TOB and the alignment tool as well while your at it.

That's a killer build, I read your whole thread over on the smart forum. Great work on the whole thing so far, I'll be interested to see how close to the 10's you get. And if you'll need a wheelie bar
#33
High 10'S would be but hoping for mid 11's in stock form, just have to keep an eye on the weight still lots of parts to add. As for wheelie bars I have a design in my head but will not be built until after a test drive in the spring if I ever get finished..

3.82 should be nice for your setup, I can't imagine wanting shorter gears from something that's bound to be ~1000lbs lighter than the car that motor came out of.

Good thing its not high HP , most short wheelbase swappers are front engined. I like a challenge anyways and hate driving a car that 20 other people are racing, just off the top of my head Mustangs / 69 Camaro's . I think it should be fun and keep me on my toes.

woww dont think ive seen this yet! looks awesome dude, really nice work on the fabrication! you even got the gmpp pedals haha! whats are your actual power goals and how do you plan on obtaining?

Power goals is just 300 to the wheels until I get use to the car then I'll probably get a ZFR and go from there.

The nice thing about a swap like this is if he does run out fuel, auxiliary injector could be used more precisely than we can with our Stock Bosch ecm. That's the beauty of running a stand alone engine management system. Hell, he could probably even set it up to engage auxiliary injectors when rail pressure drops to a predetermined value.
