for the SoCal racers

December 3rd is all day street legal racing at California Speedway in Fontana. Tech inspection starts at 7am and racing starts 9am, its $20 to race and $10 for spectators. I would really like some Cobalt SS/SC owners to come out because I'm in the market to buy one and would like to see one perform in person. I'll be there in a Dark Green/Gray 1996 Impala SS, car number 4203. See ya there!!

check out www.californiaspeedway.com, they have directions, times and a phone number to call if you have additional questions. You might have to browse a bit till you find the dragway info..

lol I didnt lauch in fact all I did was easy out and only kept it at half throttle and at about 3lbs of boost I know that was stupid but whatever I usually get 11.75lbs. of boost in first I was so mad but I gave it all in second and third only got a 14.7 because of it I know I could have done WAY better too so that still keeps me happy I'm going to a 1/8th mile Thursday and I'm going with an Evo SRT-4 and I don't know who else but we'll see catch ya laterzzz man I'm so embarrassed that I got that time still 1.1 seconds better than that other guy lol in the yellow SS that dude's an idiot!!!

My top end sucks. I had a 60' time of 2.00 flat, but my 1/4 time was 14.9 at 92 mph. My buddy with the 240sx had a 60' of 2.7, yet he ran the 1/4 at 14.5 at 101 mph. His car has sooo much potential. Hopefully I'll have my cobalt by the time the next 1/4 race comes around in Jan. and we can run again.

CA Speedway is fine if you want to wait 2 hours to race and maybe get 2-3 runs in per day.

LA County Raceway runs EVERY Wed & Friday night for $15.

We also have a GM FWD racing class with Pontiac Drag Days one saturday a month starting in Janary for the 2006 season. Our FWD class known as the "6-pack" class is open to ALL GM FWD cars including Cobalts & Ions.
