this might sound stupid but i dont race that much so would it be possible for me to just switch my calipers and rotors with the rims for the drag strip and when im done put my brembos back on? i wanna run the 15 or 16 inch rim with a slick but i refuse to totaly get rid of my brembos.

sure, i guess you could do that but it just seems like a lot of work... bleeding brakes sucks lol

instead of buying smaller brakes why not contact CCW and have them make you a pair of 16's to clear stock brakes... supposedly its 540 a wheel for competition stuff

Do you have the guys email from Mickey Thompson?

I currently run the 3221s with no issues

I would however like to see a 26 x 8 x 17 Automobile Tire instead of the 7"

They arent wide enough as they sit right now but an extra inch would be great

I don't think/know that that would be a good idea on an LNF with stock final drive. On a 4.45 trans, I could see it working... MAYBE on a 4.05.

I think that's one of those "In theory: yes, but in practice: no" sort of deals. I would be worried about the type of shock that would create on everything, as well.

With our 4.05 gear thats the easiest to heat our tires ive found in first gear the car wants to pull forward still while trying to burnout. You have to really bring the rpms up though and dump it. I still wouldnt try leaving the tree in second. Especially on slicks

I'm not thinking off efficiency with a 3rd burnout. just think it'd be sweet and smokey.

Indeed. I never tried the burnout in second... but I don't drag race much, and never went with anything other than the stock clutch. Didn't want to risk it. Haha.

If/when I ever go again, I'll certainly try it though.

Cool Story, Bro...

-__- water=bad(on street tire). drive around water box, back up so the rears almost touch then spin. otherwise your flinging water from your treads into your wheel well and on the track making it slickkkkk lol. Dont take it as bashing or anything, im just tryin to help out
