Taking my LNF to the track this saturday...
My dad and I are going to see who is faster. Haha. He's got a 70 C10 with a ZZ427. All stock no power adders. I'm running an 09 LNF with GMS1 a hahn cool air intake, and Catless DP. Can't wait to take the family trophy home haha. Anybody else going to Rockfalls this weekend?
I'll post vids of it for sure.

come on... "musclecar" is a bit of a stretch;
I would be better of with the term "muscletruck"... for obvious reasons.
what gearing does he have?
posi?
trucks suffer from serious traction issues, so even though he's making alot more power than you, odds are his 60ft times will be terrible...
for me; a use of launch control nets a 60ft time in the 2.2 range - but I'm also at a higher elevation;
I have since read here that optimal 60ft times can be had by launching at a much lower 2k rpm.
Good luck! ~ try to get someone to tape it!
EDIT:
Nice!!

I'm just shooting for mid 13's. I'll be happy with that. I'll get off the line better than him and run a better 60', but I don't know how the other 1260 feet will go... Haha

not trying to rain on your parade, just trying to help you have more realistic expectations. (and if you exceed those expectations ~ all the better!)
Good luck!

2grand trac off. I had 2.1 to 2.3 60' foots all day. Just kept spinning though... I ran a 13.7 @ 104.9 and as high as 14.4 @ 104.3. I stayed consistant around 14.1's and ran my best time against a car that did a 9.9 at 149mph. That was a fun race... As soon as I learn to launch at the track I'll get better.

Damn. Think stage 1 is worth the money? I run consistent 13.96's all day stock with 2.1 60fts.
P.S. It is a real one it's just repainted

Shitty track prep and no traction compound is to blame... Plus I launched like ****... I spun through first, second and the first little part of third. It was 47 degrees too.
