4th and 5th gear hum/noise
So a few months back GM installed a new trans for me as reverse was grinding like a ****. about 1200 miles into the new trans I blew the clutch out. Replaced the clutch with a specc 2+ and now I'm getting some REALLY funky noises from 4th and 5th on acceleration. Even just the slightest accel and it sounds like it's kind of grinding the gear or missing teeth.
Popped the shifter linkage open at the shifter and adjusted the hell outta it with no luck.
Any suggestions?

Fluid is good. When they pulled the trans out to check the clutch the didn't refill it and it was almost a quart low. Our trannies don't hold much more than that.
