I don't mean to bring back an old thread... well, yeah I do.

I've seen some fscking retarded stuff in my day. But never something so retarded as preloading sidegears in an open differential to create a wannabe limited-slip. The only "friction material" in the system is the thin washer between the side gear and the carrier. Great way to ruin a carrier.
