Have fun waiting for that one...they're not developing one for the 2.2l. Someone asked before and there are no plans for development. Sorry bro, check out TWM.

wish the hurst shifter would hurry. I am tired of breaking my stock shifter knob and pattern. I don't want a B&M, too cheap looking and feels cheap.

Not at the moment, don't know that they've got anything in development either. The ONLY short throw currently on the market for the 2.2 and 2.4 is from TWM. B&M and Hurst are both 2.0 only.

But the shifter in the SS/SCs has been out for a LOT longer than the shifter assembly in the base/ls/lt/ssna. Ours came off of the SAAB's, been out for 5 or so years. B&M I believe already had a shifter designed for the 9-3 if i remember correctly.

Hey guys, First time post. Just bought a 06 Black SS/SC with G85 and I am loving it. I am also psyched to join these forums with so many knowledgeable people. Having said that....I just wanted to share this about the Hurst shifter. I ordered it from JEGS and I am assuming it will be sent when they arrive, so no biggie as long as I am in the cue, so to speak. I also contacted Mr.Gasket tech support to see if I could get an update on the release date, and thier reply said "they will be out mid August 2006". Just wanted to give you all a heads up. I will post pics when I install it for anyone who is interested.

No it is not the same damn thing. The Hurst is much cleaner looking than the plastic knob B&M.

Not to me, I've heard of numerous problems with the B&M, plus I've always liked Hurst shifters.

B&M is really good quality, it is more personal preference. We have the actual picture of the Hurst now at www.TurboTechRacing.com

Aaron, mark me back down for getting the Hurst again. I was like so stoked when you had it on your page only to call me 2 months later and say sorry man, no shifter yet.
