Im a little lost with the question.... what do you mean long term? I have only had the clutch for like 450km now... it is breaking in quite nicely now though. Starts are much smoothly... not as much jumpyness but the chatter of the clutch will be heard forever and ugh... yeah squeeling the clutch when you don't totally depress it is normal for a racing clutch like this aswell... considering its ceramic when it heats up it squeels!

I'm talking about the flywheel. I figured with the aluminum dust guard rubbing on it, it would scar the surface a little too much.

hmmmmm.... I wouldn't actually know. The mechanics who installed it and car enthusiasts who seen it all said it was a real piece of work so I can't imagine anything like that being a problem.

I don't know, it is a stealership, if there was damage, they wouldn't of told me. But I only put about 100 miles on the car, so I'm really not to worried about it.

your clutch actuator (throw out bearing, yadda yadda) should have been replaced. Exedy's instructions say to replace it.

anyways. i put my exedy clutch in on friday. pedal is nice and stiff now and it grabs amazingly. a grand is kind of rediculous to pay for it, but its a hell of a clutch. i also got paid to put it in muahahahaha
