I'm new here, because to me your cars are nothing but a source of parts for those of us who modify Fieros, but why aren't you guys discussing the 6-speed from the G6 GT? The axles we need for us to use this trans are the ones from a Supercharged Cobalt SS F35.
It's a great trans, Rated for 295 ft-lbs, but holding way more, and just 1870 rpm @ 65 mph. And there is a Quaife for it, which is good since you're spinning the tires on the wrong end of the car.

the f40 from a saab does bolt up (g6 one will not, wrong bolt pattern for the ecotec), axles will work, the problem is sourcing one out. ive always been interested in the swap but saabs are pretty much non existant were i am, and i really dont want to be doing too much experimenting on my only car.
