anyone notice...
if yer car is off, and you play with the gears its so much easier than with the car on, mainly thrid, i did this today just to compare, and when my car is running, and ive got the car in neutral, its hard to shift into third, but when its off it goes in like butter everytime, this is with my foot on the clutch the whole time, is there a reason for this??

Maybe because the engine and drivetrain are at rest . The engine is not torqued over like it is when its running. Do you have the Ingalls Damper? I had a hard time shifting into 3rd until I got the damper.

Bingo! The motor mounts on the Cobalt are so so so so SOFT. Almost everysingle member with the Ingalls Stiffy have reported smoother and more precise (sp) shifts in all types of driving conditions.
