Can I use a spec 2+ clutch disc with a stock pressure plate ?

I have a spec 2+ clutch that was from the 1st batch that they released . It in no way shape or form slips 1 bit . Im having numerous problems with it releasing and at WOT after shifting 1-2 the pedal goes dead and sticks to the floor . My throwout/slave assembly is brand new , clutch master is good and it is bled adaqutely . I was told the early spec clutches were junk , and my current probs are due to improper clearences in the pressure plate . Spec wont even entertain it might be a design problem . I wasnt trying to get new one , I was just trying to get some insight .

I cant afford a Exedy until spring , can I use the spec 2+ disc with my stock pressure plate ? Would doing that even be worth the pita it would be to swap out ? Pulling the trans on jackstands would suck if it wasnt worth it .
