cv joint boot for GM upraded wheel hop axle

Tried searching and searching but to no avail, I was trying to find what boot to use for my CV joint , unfortunately the boot was discontinued by GM. And NAPA claimed to not sell one. But I found one that did work. Its a Rockford CV boot PN 534-10. Its for an old 1990's camry and celica... The problem is the diameter of the axle usuallly comes with a larger diameter for the joint. But the gm uprade axle is an oddball, with a larger then normal axle and smaller then normal joint. This is for the outboard boot only!! Hopefully this will make it easier for the next soul.

You don't just replace the boot FYI, it's more cost effective to replace the axle as a whole.

Again, with your infinite stupidity, you fail to realize what is even going on here.
His gmpp axles are an upgraded kit you do not just buy off the shelf.

even with a stock axle replacing a boot is more cost effective than purchasing a new axle. last time i changed boots on something they were $15 each, a new axle is $70+. now paying to have them changed, different story, just have them replace the axle.

Lets please try not to lock a useful thread. These particular axles are only sold in a kit with trans mounts for 800$. It makes perfect sense to replace a boot.

No need to be a jerk when you make rude and incorrect comments and get called out for it
