Do I Have A Lsd???
Hey, i have a 2005 ss/sc. I bought it used with 9K miles on it. The dealership told me it had a LSD when i bought the car, but i later find out that not all these cars came factory with one. Is there a way i can tell...from the vin # perhaps???

not all the cars came with both the recaros and the lsd. If you have a g85 package then you have both, but some cars just came with either the recaros or the lsd. I know someone who has lsd but no recaros so it is possible being that the salsesperson didnt mention anything about a g85 to you. Take a look for yourself or bring it to a mechanic to have them look for you.

Honeslty, if your friend has LSD and no recaro's, then he had the LSD installed at the dealer perhaps. And it wasn't a dealer "**** up" because the dealers dont make the cars, they just sell them. Did he buy it brand new? if not then the previous owner probly got it installed...or maybe hes just shittin you

We're not trying to jump all over your ass. We are just saying that you are the first one to come on the board and talk about a cobalt ss/sc with only half the G85 option from the factory. So, seeing as there are many many extremely knowledgeable people on this board, if it were at all possible for a cobalt ss/sc to come with LSD and no Recaros, I am positive it would have been brought up before. SOrry to come off like an Ass, it's been a long day...
