x2

If you rev match while upshifting, you'll get way smoother shifts. A must going from 1st to 2nd.

the rest of the shifts there really isnt that much you have to wait for but deffinetly from first to second there is a nice big gap in rpm difference. also depends on how fast u shift im usually in gear waiting by tht time.

I suspect this is your problem, driver mod ftw. Watch the tachometer, do the rpms jerk down when you let out the clutch on the 1-2 shift? If so your clutch timing is too quick on the 1-2 shift. Wait an extra second for the rpms to fall and then let the clutch out smooth and deliberately.

yeah, they drop alot. I have tried shifting everywhere between 1.5k and 4k and its always the same. Anywhere between 2-4k they will always drop to about 1.5k. Even if I let it drop. Yeah, the higher the rpms the bigger the jerk, because going from 4k to 1.5k is a big jump but not as big as say 2.5k to 1.k, its a smaller jerk, and 2k is a little jerk but its still very noticeable. Dunno maybe im just doing something wrong that im missing.

It's not very hard, you just have to double clutch the downshift (Throw it into neutral, blip the revs up, and then put it into third). I do it all the time for passing.

Here are a few tips I learned while driving my car...

1st - used for starting from a stop or if you get less than 20mph(I noticed that if you go in second under 20mph for me it shakes)

2nd- Is when your slowing down just to make a turn but keeping it around 20+mph

------------

Now skipping gears. The only time you should skip a gear is if you got on it and you revved your engine high like a 2nd -40 punch really quick and you noticed your like at 60mph then you could pass 3rd gear because going into 3rd gear would rev you car higher than what you want. So I would go in 4th to keep it at the 2k-3k range.

-------------

When I started to drive this car really the clutch didn't give me a problem it was the damn gas pedal so sensitive compared to my ford explorer haha.
