I called CED and spoke with Tom and he informed me that it is the correct fluid, it is just a different bottle and part #. Since we both ordered the same thing and got the same Saturn fluid, I feel good with his answer.

That is incorrect, they are NOT the same fluids.. The Saturn 21018899 is the LSJ/Redline ORIGINAL trans fluid. The GM 88862472 is the LNF fluid, that is now being used as the LSJ 'Upgraded' fluid.
GM 88862472 is a tad thinner and is considered an 'upgrade' for LSJ models, and does give a noticeably better performance - and works better in cold too.
If you specifically ordered part# 88862472 then get what you paid for, the Saturn 21018899 is a downgrade..

I did a quick search for part number 21018899 On crate engine Depot's website and I found that it pulled up the same bottle that we ordered with part #888****, now I am really confused.

I did some homework on the Saturn Ion redline website and I found that that part number is for the old saturn redline. GM parts direct.com references the same part number for the Saturn oil and it sells for $8.** for 6 bottles. I will definitely be sending mine back. Thanks again for clearing the muddy water.
