Getting ready to install LSJ upgrade clutch

I am about to replace the clutch on my 07 ss/sc this friday. I have the gm performance division how to I will be referring to as I do the job and I will have some well experienced help as well. I just want to know how hard this is to do off jack stands and is there anything anyone here can inform on to make it all that much easier lol. I dont have a 3/8 inch impact I'll be using a 1/2 drive but I have the rest of the tools except a 12 inch extension...is that really that necessary?

Thank you for any and all input.

Goooooooooood luck to you. Clutch installs are the biggest PITAs, even when you have a lift available.

Ya I don't expect it to be a walk in the park, at all and I ordered a new flywheel from CED I don't have a dealership or anything near my dads that can resurface the flywheel(he lives out in the sticks)so a new one with 8 new bolts was ordered. I wish my dad would have gotten a lift installed before I needed to do this anyway lol oh well. Any other input =D

Ya I completed this job Wednesday. It wasn't to bad and I definitely love the feel of this clutch. I did the OTTP stg2 mounts earlier, feel some vibrations going to drive it around real easy and check/tq everything down and hope it all goes away!
