Gm awd??

Can anyone tell me if GM ever made a vehicle witht he 2.2 ecotec in it that was all wheel drive?

American auto makers are to dumb to make a tuner type 2.0 - 2.4 liter awd to compete with Evo's and sti's. JUst like for years they should have made cadillac more sporty to compete with bmw and it took them years to do that and now the game is over bmw is number one.

I'd love to see you throw thousands of dollars at a 2.2 to make it AWD. Go for it.

There's AWD Pontiac Vibes, but them be Toyota motors.

would you pay $35k+ for an AWD cobalt? they are different markets.

The biggest hurtle that someone else brought up is the steering rack. It's right in the way with no easy solution. The rest is fairly feasible if you have fabrication skills.

i don't think they made a 2.2 awd. only some of the v6's were awd.

whoever said bmw is the best, think again. the CTS-V performs much better than th M5.

Thanks for the input everyone, im not th ebest at fab work, but i am getting better taking on newer and bigger projects all the time.
it was just an idea that slammed into my head and thoguht it be pretty cool.
