hubs or bad tires?
well my car is making a sort of rough noise. kinda like a truck with big tires on them going fast down the freeway. i know the hubs on these cars suck, and stock perilles suck as well.
well the faster i go the louder the noise gets, doesn't change if i swerve side to side. and i cant tell what it is from. it is a 06 LSJ with 54k on it. tires are pretty crappy but not gone completely.
is there a way i can tell what the problem is?

if the noise goes with road speed and doesnt change when you swerve left to right, doesnt change on and off the throttle (accel to decel) or doesnt change when you push the clutch in, its tires. wheel bearings, even if both are bad, will have some sort of change in pitch or volume when swerving. constant noise like you are describing is tires.
i had an expedition in my shop last week with the same thing, noise with road speed. another shop changed all 4 wheel hubs, noise was still the same. i sent him for a new set of tires (they were down to wear bars anyways). couple hours later he was back to let us know the tires fixed the noise.
