I'm stumped and need help with my clutch problem .

History - .....spec 2+ clutch/Fidenzza aluminum flywheel with roughtly 35,000 miles , when I can shift at WOT , theres 0 problem with slipping , it still grips as good as new .......when u excellerate anything above 3/4 throttle , the clutch gets hard as a rock . I can barely push it in . 1-2 WOT shift I can tap the pedal to go into 2nd , the longer the car accelerates under 3/4 or WOT the harder the pedal gets . Typically after 3rd gear its done . I push the clutch in to get into neutral and it just sticks there until I seriously with alot of effort pump the hell out of the pedal . Then it goes somewhat back to normal feeling . After that type of situation happens , when I try to take off in 1st gear , it acts like a twin disc . THen after a couple minutes of shifting at normal road speeds , it goes totally back to normal feeling . I basically thought my slave/TB was going bad , understandably as my car has 61,000 miles . I was set to replace the slave myself .....

but , I let a friend borrow the car recently . Long story short , he wheelhopped the hell out of it and cracked my trans case . Fortunately I was able to get a new trans along with brand new slave under warranty ....thank god for friends in the right places . I figured my shifting problem would have been gone with the new slave . The opposite is true , it worse . The only shift I can pull off at WOT now is barely 1-2 . I cant get the pedal in at all to shift into 3rd . Same deal , I gotta violently pump it to get the pedal back . I didnt bleed the clutch myself at the dealer when they did the trans , but my friend Josh isnt a ******* . He said it was bled properly and between him and 2 other techs couldnt find anything wrong ....and basically think its the clutch itself causing the problem .

What would have to happen to clutch assembly for something like this to happen ? Also another thing to note ....this clutch has always performed flawlessly , but .....it has had a rattling noise since day on decel in gear . And now....35,000 miles later , it does make the same rattle noise idling in neutral . If u push the clutch in at idle the rattle goes away . After talkign with a few people and a Spec tech , the rattle I pretty much wrote as noise I wouldnt hear if I had steel flywheel , and the rattle at idle was probaly due to the clutch disc wearing over time and again , may not be audibly noticeable with a steel flywheel .

If u were to drive the car at normal to 1/2 throttle all the time , you would never think there was prob . It shifts flawlessly and the clutch pedal effort feels perfect .

Im stumped and would love to hear some opinions .

Is their anything that can go bad inside the clutch master that could possibly cause a problem like this ?

Some bent fingers on the pressure plate?

It sounds to me like your pressure plate is locking/screwing up. That would explain why it shifts well at one rpm and not at another, it is the pressure plate that is getting easy/hard to move depending on what rpm it is spinning at. If you're lucky you just may need to clean out the disk dust buildup from inside the PP and make it like new.
I can't imagine the prob being in the hydraulics, unless there was a loose metal chip or something in a cylinder, not very likely.

And that rattling noise is usually your throw-out bearing. Just think about it, you only hear it when the clutch is out, when there is no pressure on the bearing. Without pressure on the bearing it will move on the shaft, in the yoke and sometimes rattle.

Good Luck!
