Are Ingalls Torque Dampers worth the money

I was looking at the ingalls td on ca.site and wondered if the almost $200 part was worth it?
What kind problems if any have you noticed with your td if any and is their a place selling them cheaper than 179+shipping

Dude just get tranny mounts from www.CobaltPerformanceparts.com. They will eliminate the wheel hop a lot better and there far cheaper then the ingalls.

Are you naturally an abnoxious person? or do you just work really hard at it?

There are hundreds of people who will tell you how helpful the ingalls is.

The ability to throw it in when you want it, cut a nice 2.0 60ft on stock rubber without a hint of wheelhop.....and then take it out to avoid stupid amounts of vibrations that you would get with mounts when its time to drive to work....or for a vacation....is worth every penny.

there are a few people who have bent the brackets....but its been widely discussed that bending of the brackets is generally a result of poor installation, and/or improper adjustment of the damping settings.

I'll search the how to section to see how to fill the mounts that sounds like a cheap mod that couldn't hurt anything

I've seen what filled mounts looked like after 20,000 miles... they were literally falling apart. Get some soild mounts... BWoody or TTR... you won't be sorry.

Tranny mounts are differnt than the engine torque dampener. You should really do both.

However many state the Ingalls bends, the brackets do on it. You might want to look at our solid upper engine mount @ www.TurboTechRacing.com

Agreed 2X....
I love my Ingalls and do not want the vibrations that the solid mounts give you!

Customers who have went from the ingalls to our mount state either the vibs are the same as the ingalls, or even less than the ingall. We have never heard once they had more vibs than the ingalls.

I honestly don't think the vibes from the solid mounts are that bad.

The vibs from the mounts may be the same as the ingalls.
but my ingalls takes 3 minutes to put in on track days.
and the other 28 days of the month its out while i commute and daily drive. with 0 vibs at all

cant do that with mounts.

I had both. The Ingalls and the TTR soild motor mounts. There were no more vibes from the solid motor mount, however there was less wheel spin.

With the solid motor mount + the Tranny bushings, I now have 0 wheel hop. I recomend Motor + Trans mounts but between the Ingalls or TTR motor mount...

TTR > Ingalls

Good call. I never thought of that actually. I don't mind the little Vibes ive gotten with the Ingalls/Motor mount. Not bad at all for me.

I have never had a problem with my Ingalls and I get no wheel hop and very little vibration. The most important thing is to make sure you install it right. If it is installed correctly you should not have any problems with it. I don't remember but I think I only paid $120 for my Ingalls, I guess they have gone up in price now.

My ingall's has over 10k miles on it without issue . Took it off two days ago for a vacation and its been a nice quiet ride for me and the wife . Vibes kinda suck after a couple hundred miles on the interstate .
