I really don't know how many times I am going to have to say it, after all I did just install the six puck and this is the thread I started, this clutch feels fine! This is my daily driver and it does a healthy mix of city and highway and it slips just fine. Engagement is damn close to stock and it is not anywhere near as harsh as I was expecting. I can't tell you guys much more...I went from stock to this and it really is not bad at all. Very comparable. Except for power holding...this clutch way outshines stocker there!

I had a KY Clutch, Good clutch held what ever I threw at it (zzp 252 kit).. I now have a zzp s4 and I do like it better Pedal feel and engagement are much nicer, but it better be because it cost 300+ more than the KY.

Update: break in time 2-3 weeks at most. I am not 100% sure, but I know I have only had it in for about 3 weeks and last week it was holding like a champ. Break in was very quick. Holding power is high. As posted by james, this updated pressure plate can handle upward of 650lb-ft, so I won't be pushing it. I am at 362 lb-ft at the wheel as I am now. In the next week or two I will have added a k&n and gotten retuned for it, and if I can talk the guys at the shop into it I will redyno and post up numbers. As for how this clutch feels, I have already posted that it is very close to stock. Not identical, but I was not expecting it to be identical, but it is much closer than I thought it would be. Its easy on me for DD duties, and I will be able to say what its like in the winter pretty soon here. I realize that people have their preferences, but if you are looking for holding power at a great price and quality, this is the way to go. Why spend more than twice as much?

You sir are smart lol.. Im glad you like your clutch.. It tool chris and i a few times to figure out what we did. The stock lnf pressure plates which are used in all other kit or similiar usually only have 900 lbs of clamping force we tested clutchmasters stage 4 pressure plates and some spec..

Ill chime i non this, seeing as james and i installed mine bout 2 weeks ago. Yes at first engagement was a tad harsh for my liking. But seeing as i drove home from james house bout 200 miles and then 2 days later took the car on a 700 mile round trip it is getting easier and easier to drive. As stated above in other posts, 1st and reverse take some getting used too and this is pretty close to a stock clutch as well, BUT NOT EXACT! As far as my power my last dyno i was at 360 torque at the wheels, that was before my new tune by james!! But i will have acurate numbers here next month.
So in short I am liking this clutch!!!

I only have like 290 wtq on my sc/ss. They recommended the stage 3 which he said was a ceramic disc. I was wondering if anyone knew if this was a full faced disc and if it is a sprung hub.

I wonder if I would be ok with stage 2, I don't make nearly as much power as most of you. I've had problems with the spec 6 puck making the pedal go rock hard at high rpms. Not sure if it was the clutch itself or the findanza flywheel. The pucks ride on the outside edge of the replaceable friction plate and when I removed it the plate was warped. I'm not sure if the plate always warp after removing them but it didn't seem right. So I was trying to find something with a full face disc just to give myself peace of mind.
