i'm getting stationed in germany, thats the biggest reason i went ahead with the build was so i could have a fast car for the autobahn and nurenburgring. not a leaky POS that i can't even ship!

well i fixed the leaking oil cooler with some hight temp orange copper sealant, sealed it up great. the first time the car has been leak free since i got it back. now i gotta get a new bolt for the turbo and get those properly torqued, among other little ******* issues i gotta fix. so i put some oil back in there, was 3 ******* quarts low. i'd have been so pissed if the motor had siezed! good thing i'm a strong believer of constantly checking the fluids on a daily basis.

damn you fix one leak find another that little 4 bolt plate on the front cover for the oil pump gears is leaking too. damn dp has en exhaust leak coming out of the welds, discharge flange is missing a bolt. charge piping is pushing down on the plastic wheelwell liner and pushing it onto my tire. missing all 6 torques bolts for my injector cover and coil cover. missing both brackets that hold the wheel well plactic liner in place. missing all clips that hold the upper grill to the radiator support. those are the deficiencies i found last night alone. i found a few previously that weren't even listed yet. charge piping doesn't clear the valve cover, doesn't clear the alternator, doesn't clear the hood. the maf piping was supposed to be 85mm all the way to the tb, but was reduced down to 2.5" before the tb. and there is no catalytic convertor. the bung for the egt guage was not welded in. and the bung for the wb and rear o2 sensor was not welded in. wow thats a lot of **** i gotta fix, to think i paid alot of money to have the charge piping and dp done for me. as well as the motor being built.

cool, if we end up pulling some motors you could end up with one hell of a good learning experience.
