Lsd

is limited -slip differential a must have add on for the cobalt..... does it make a big difference or should the money be used elsewhere

the money should be used else where unless you have the $$$ to blow... you really only need it if you are pushing a good amount of power about almost 300 hp mark iwould guess and there is a phantom grip LSD out there for the balt and it is like $1000 or more

I would say go with the LSD because if you like to go fast like me then that is a great investment because if you are turning and you are going farily fast then the LSD will transfer the most power to the wheel with the most grip. I vote for the LSD.

I got mine without the lsd and I like to have one in the future. Has anyone looked into getting a transmission from a damaged ss/sc with the lsd already installed? And how much would it cost to have one installed in mine if I just bought it outright?

Labor costs suck these days so it would depend where you took it.

get lsd!! only need it if you are pushing 300hp? is that crank? because that's not hard at all. but anyways with my mods i still can't go more than 1/2 throttle in 1st because it's just wheel hop. right wheel spins like crazy. and that's with both prothane mounts and the ingalls.

Yeah labor would be the biggest pain.....good thing I am good friends with a mechanic haha

I say get the LSD eventually, if you mod the **** out of your car like I have you will need it.
