New '09 SS trouble powershifting

I have a new '09 SS with 4100mi. I'm having some trouble with the No-lift shifting from 1st to 2nd at WOT. I hit the clutch and pull it to 2nd but it grinds and won't go in. Anyone else having this problem? My 2nd to 3rd is perfect. I bought it brand new so there were no previous owners to break it.

I have the same problem. Shifting @ less than redline seems to help a little but in all honesty I've pretty much given up BANGING the 1-2 @ WOT. If I slow down just a tad and pull shifter towards me going into 2nd I have better luck.May have the linkage checked out-blowing that shift and bouncing off the limiter SUUUUCKS

but now i can get 1-2 WOT NLS and 2-3 WOT NLS perfect

some people shift at about 5k instead of redline

I believe there's a service bulletin out regarding a "pin" used in assembly that may have inadvertently been left in the shift linkage.I'm having it checked soon along with charge piping/brakes.

Thanks for the response guys. I brought it to the dealership and of course they didn't notice anything because they didnt drive it hard. BUT, they did install some computer updates and while on my way home I tried the NLS some more. I nailed each and every one so I have no idea what the updates changed, but it seems to help a bit.

FRQ_FLYR, I'll ask about the bulletin and see if they know anything about it. Thanks for the input.
