No Gears Help

I've been researching like mad what could be the issue.

2007 Cobalt SS SC 103000, replaced clutch at 75k.

Driving along my shifter felt really loose, it would shift into the gear, but would "sag" back out of position. It just had a lot of play, more than normal. I went to park, and tried to shift into reverse, it gave me a small grind and so I just let the car roll back on it's own instead. Shifted into first and it felt really lose, Rolled into a parallel parking spot. Cannot shift into any gear, shifter moves around freely as can be. No clutch needed. No grinding when trying to shift into gears. Help a bro out. I'm tired of driving my 70 chevelle in this cold ass weather. Looked at the cables under the cup holder, they seem fine. Looked under the fuse box at the shifting mechanisms. I'm not the most mechanically inclined but am good at following instructions. I was thinking Linkage Roll Pin, but would hate to pull it if it was fine.

Positive? Is the roll pin generally flush to the thing it's in?

If you pull the wheel, does that give you access to one side of the pin better than through the fuse box area? Whats the best method? Push it through one way to knock one side out, then push it back for the other?

Yea, but it snaps inside and still looks to be fine.
Unclip the cable and try to spin the shift arm, bet it spins instead of changing the gears.

Take off the drivers side wheel and splash guards.

This pin moves in and out but won't come out. I'm not paying several hundred for a $2 fix.
