One of a kind clutch for the ss/sc

For those who want performance out of their cars, the most horsepower,or just the best track car. My first question is, how much are you willing to spend. How much would you spend on a clutch that could take anything that you could throw at it. There is no clutch on the market right now that can handle anything. How about the clutch thats in the time attack car, its one of a kind. ( or is it? ) Im just wondering how much you would be willing to pay for a twin plate clutch with pressure plate and fly wheel together and it weighs less then the stock fly wheel alone. Let me know.

i know daikin clutches will have a twin-plate clutch out for the lsj later this year. the lady that answered the phone looked it up and even asked her supervisor. i will be gettin this clutch when it comes out. it only has a 7.5 in. diameter. my dad used these in his circle track car.

i dunno but i think over $650 is ridiculous for a stage 2+ when i could have got a stage 3 for my 350Z that holds more power than my LSJ will ever put out for like $450

if the clutch your talking about can stand up to all thouse clames you make.....then it and new fly would be worth around 700-800

thats IF it can support your clames

The clutch that was in the time attack cobalt was an exedy....it is being released sometime before or during the summer, I cant remember at the moment but I emailed them inquiring about a clutch and that is what they told me.

You are right Exorcist about what kind of clutch it is but its not going to come out for atleast another year. There is only two like it in the world, one is in the time attack cobalt and I can get the other one. The only catch is, you have to go to a special shop to put it on, they are the only people who will know how to put it on. By the way sorry to tell you guys, 1000$ would not touch this clutch. This is only for people who really want performance and dont have a budget. Theres not another clutch like it one the market.

wel you give me the address, and i'll go have it installed. I don't care how much it costs. It's only money. And if it holds up to whatever I can throw at it. I'd pay.

I wouldn't buy anything unless I knew specs/info on it.

well thats the thing i would have to take your car and get it installed. the reason is because im the only person that can get this clutch and the place that im getting it from has to think that im getting it in my car. i have no problem with you coming alone for the ride. i cant really give out too much info on here because, im not supose to be able to buy it. if you really want to buy the clutch, i can let you know more about it. the cost of the clutch is 6000$ and then you have to pay to get it installed.

depends on what? look i know that it sounds like bs but i can get the clutch. ive seen the clutch. the place where im getting it at is building a cobalt and they sent it to them, they said that they would sell it to me and just tell the company to send them another one. its a big company that everyone knows but i cant give out their name due to im not suppose to be able to buy this clutch, it was made for their car and their car only.

6000 dolars for a clutch, lol. you have to be joking right? what's the point in buying this cluthc for 6000 dollars now if exedy is coming out with a clutch later? that's dumb, whoever buys this clutch is going to feel like a giant ******* when the exedy clutch comes out.

u can say what you want but when the clutch comes out, whole sale price will be 4000$. thats if the clutch comes out to the public. im just trying to give someone else the chance that i have. if you have ever really tried to mod a car you know that it is not cheap if you do it right with the right parts. i dont want the clutch because, my cobalt is my daily driver. i have a clutch like this in my car that i have built and it wasnt cheap, even at my price. so if you dont want it, then dont say anything. i know that 6000$ is alot of money but you get what you pay for.

Wow blown 06, i really hope no one buys this. Whoever does is an idiot. No offense blown 06, but you're not that bright either (in selling this clutch for that price that is). Oh yeah, $6,000 is not a lot of money. It's just a decent used car, a m90 custom swap on our car, maybe a new engine swap.....Dude get real. They have spec stage 5 clutches out for our car that can handle plenty of power for anyone that needs one. And if you wanted to run a 900 hp ss/sc, it would make more sense to get one custom made and probably STILL BE CHEAPER.

the thing is im not selling the clutch, ******* if you paid attention. you are right there is a stage 5 clutch out there that can hold alot of power but not one that will last as long as this, plus it is a twin plate, theres not one of those on the market. so no offense, i dont give two ***** what you have to say. i was just asking if anyone else would want this clutch because i dont want it and im the only one that can get it as of now. so thanks for your comments but, keep them to your self. when your decide that you want real performance let me know, theres not another clutch like this on the market.
