HMM..interesting. I heard stage 2 definitely increases vibes. I guess you're one onf the few to compare both stages. Keep us informed on the vibes..maybe a repost again in a couple weeks?

Stage 2 gave me buyers remorse at first. The vibes were enough to make my rear view mirror move on its own, everything rattled, and my wife got nauseous when she rode in it for the first time. lol
Luckily the mounts settled in after putting the car through its paces for about 100 miles or so, and now it is just like stock at idle, with a hint of vibes when I turn the A/C on.

Well, I raised my idle to 900 rpm last winter after putting on the lightweight flywheel so maybe that's the difference. I had the air on tonight and while I did notice it at idle, nothing was drastic. If I bog it a bit on easy takeoff where the rpm drops to around 750 it shakes a bit, but no worse than stage 1 did.
No one else rides in my daily driver so no issues there. I'm pleased with it but I knew what to expect having solid mounts on a '65 Chevelle Malibu SS years ago. (327 c.i., 4 spd)

Some mentioned raising the idle, but how bad are the vibrations at stock idle?

Hand tighten with the wrench...then 1/2 turn more...done.
You're looking at around 75 lbs for the tranny mounts...prolly 30 lbs for the motor mounts on the passenger side.

i keep seeing you guys talk about tq steer, i cant say i've ever noticed it... the car has a tendency to want to be a little darty when at WOT but it deff doesnt yank one way or the other... wheel hop is a deff issue tho.

I really like the how these even help with shifting its smooth and crisp now!!!!!!!!!!! It took me 35 mins to install just checked how hard the stock mounts were on with a torque wrench and repeated when I tightened everthing up.
Used the "how to" and had no problem getting things to line up or need any glue to hold things. Just car ramps, floor jack, 18mm 15mm and rachet wrench (I cheated and used a air rachet).
