Mines at the dealer right now for this problem and I'm suppose to test drive it with the shop foreman later. I'll let you know what he says, I think that I might print this thread out if you don't mind.

just under 5k miles and no clutch problems. Not happy with the fact that the sunroof motor is out, the passenger side power window trim plate is off, and the seat leather is wearing crappy, but other then that love the car. There are little problems with every car, as long as they keep fixing them I will be happy.

I drove mine hard for the first 1000 miles or so and it slipped very badly. I grannied it over the winter and now it seems to be fine again. I think some people may be getting slippage from glazing the clutch like I think I did.

Almost 30000 miles and no slipage. I had a cuply of driver errors slipage but not too bad I just got out of it really quick and pumped the clutch and all is good. I am running KDW 2 know and it still bangs through the grears with no issues at all. For the most part I drive like a granny but I do hammer the **** out of it every once in a while.

Yes it is slipping I know, but I am stock currently and I only smell it when I've had a few hard runs.

Got my 06 ss-sc last week and it's been ok. Voted no, although I only have 720km's on it. (It came from Quebec City to Montreal, so there's the 500km's already on it when i got it) lol... I just noticed when I shift from 1st to 2nd, the car jumps... Maybe i'm not shifting good enough, since it's my first manual car, or could that be slipping?? Oh, btw, i'm all stock for now. Thanks, and good job with the topic!!

Mine started to slip from 1st to 2nd around 2k miles, i took it to the dealer for them to look at and they claim to have test drove it and found nothing wrong. I asked them well how did you get on it to test out the problem in the rain? they didnt have an answer for me. lol it still happens every now and then, but of course never when i take it in.

No thats called torque, get a torque brace and the heavy hit when you slam in 2nd will be dampened.
