Ralco cavy STS installed on F23

Went ahead and got the Ralco cavy shifter off of eBay for $70. Not expecting much from the get go, I have to admit, I am quite pleased. The thing is heavy for sure, but the machining isn't the greatest (but what do you expect, it's a $70 ST).

Installation was a breeze. I was going to make a how too, but I literally just followed a how-too for taking the shifter out, and reversed the process.

You can remove the reverse lockout, but I opted to keep mine on for looks, and used it as a mounting point to re-zip tie the stock boot to.

Took the car for a little spin, and my initial reaction going into second was "whoa!". This being my first manual car, thus my first STS, I don't have anything to compare it to, but for $70 and 45 min of my time, I'd do it again in a heartbeat!
