Shifting and SC wine...

OK I now have I/E and Stage 2 and have about 9000 miles on my 06 SS/SC. I have never smelled burnt clutch or anything, and compared to my brother with an 04 Redline with same mods I drive like Ms. Daisey. Anyway, he hasnt had any clutch problems, and I dont believe I have either. But since stage 2 was installed I noticed something thats a little different.

Basically before stage 2 (when I was stage 1) I could rev to 7 then shift and boom it would jump back down instantly and start climbing in power as normal.

Now since stage 2 maining from 2nd to 3rd and also 1st to 2nd you get to 7 k and shift and then it like wines down:

(eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee=supercharger wine)

goes eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee == SHIFT == then it will wine while the RPMS drop and then start the normal eeeeeeeeeeeee wine. So basically the RPMs are still droping as I have already shifted and re applied the gas. I dont know if this is because of the extra power or not or if its a sign of slippage.

My bro says its fine. I have never had problems while in gear, and in this case above it still grips and keeps going. Would this be normal as you aproach 260+ HP?

Clutch slippage most likely....Time for a Spec Stage 2+. It's only going to get worse the more you do aggressive shifts. Trust me

This sounds like the pre-stages of a clutch that is going.... When you get a clutch get the FX300 by clutch masters or the Spec Stage 2+ or 3+ you will not be disapointed by either of the 3.

that's clutch slippage. Mine did it at the track twice last night and once the previous time I went so I need a new one.

That sucks, didnt notice it today, and drove it pretty hard. It was only last night while it was really cold out, go figure.

Oh well, I will be saving some cash up to have enough in the bank for when it really starts sliping. Guess my new Aeroforce Interceptor will be my last mod for a while. heres to that comes in soon

I will do the Clutch and Flywheel at the same time. Thats about 1G in parts. How much would a dealer charger for install on something like that?

If I had it installed at a tranny shop would I keep my warranty or have problems?
