You musta missed these. IMO 8 ball is OK for a hot rod but doesn't look right in a sport compact.

the nice thing about it is the knob has about 2 inches of adjustment so that it can be about as tall as the stock one or pretty damn short, i keep it some where in between...

to give you a point of reference, sit in your ca, and go from 3rd into neutral. where it is sitting in neutral, i would be in 4th.

if you look at the stock shaft compared to the TWM, it's got more of a bend to it, so that it does that. i kinda like it, but that's because with my arm on the armrest, i can shift without having to move the damn thing

difference in bend between stock and cosmo... it's alot different so thje stock positioning for the linkages don't quite work too well

Finally got around to installing my shifter today. The install wasn't bad, and the short throws sure do beat the stock shifter.

OK, I'm really liking the short-throws of the shifter. But, the chrome knob is like a chunk of ice in this Midwest winter. Has anyone changed shift knobs, or cover the chrome with some material?

Can't wait for summer, it'll be a hot coal then.

I'm also going to try to readjust the shifter tonight. First gear is so high I almost can't use the cup holder.

No ****, but it makes you shift fast. I think a toyota knob will fit if you remove the RLO piece.

I adjusted the shifter tonight to go back as far as possible, much better. Also did the "Crown Royal" mod. Put a single serving size Crown Royal felt bag over the shift knob.
