Talking Should I change my clutch while there?

I've got an 06 cobalt ss sc, bone stock. I do plan to put on a stage 2 upgrade. I've still have the factory clutch with only 41,000 miles on it, and it feels fine. But Chevy is pulling my transmission (still under warranty) because it's noisy (whines on low throttle and low rpm's). So my question is should I replace the clutch while Chevy is in there? And if so what clutch would be best. I don't think I'll ever have any more then 300 HP. I have read the clutch forums, but seems to be confusing with all the different comments.
Thanks for all your help and comments.

300hp Aaron i dont think he is in need of the hypersingle.... More like the upgraded lsj clutch, or even a spec single face disc non pucked. I understand your trying to sale and all but he def dont need the hypersingle.

lsj apgraded clutch from gmpp. crateenginedepot.com
kyclutch.com------call them for the clutch you want they wont show it on there site since there clutches are made then and there,
spec
zzp clutches zzperformance.com
exedy.

cheapest is the gmpp clutch, second one will be ky clutch for there special clutch kits.

Maybe but he has room to grow and never has to worry about it being a weak link. At 300 HP you are just about to the point of needing it.

If you do make sure you replace all the other may fail later stuff like throwout bearing, fork etc. Not exactly sure what all that would be but like you said, while they're paying the labour...

thanks

you guys are awesome. Thanks for all the responses and suggestions. Sounds like the upgraded gmpp is the way to go, along with the other components I'll have to ck with my local gm parts guy and see what kinda prices he can get for me.
Thanks again.

I'd just make the one you have last, say you get 20k-30k out of it... imo might as well replace with stock then because theyre so cheap.

the gmpp upgrade is just as cheap.

it's like $280.00 iirc and it already comes with a better throwout bearing than stock which costs ~$100 by itself

I just ordered the GMPP clutch, I figure as long as its a bit better then the stock one, I can justify paying the little bit more for it when I have to replace my clutch and throw out bearing anyways. I ordered it from crateenginedepot the called me right away and ship it out.
