Small problem not sure wat it can be !

So i changed my clutch throw out bearing and clutch master dylinder aswell as the tranni fluid to oem. Everything is perfectly fine but then i try to go into 5th its weird i have to force the shift knob all the way to the right and i dont mean just move it to the right i mean like almost slam it to the sid ethen it goes into gear smooth just like every other gear and its doing the same with reverse . So im thinking its something to do with the shifter cables i adjusted them but the problem still there . Im thinking of adjust ing the other cable wich is next to the cable we adjust fo rthe gears i have no idea wat its for but it may be that or even the cable might be bent out of shape maybe crooked or so .

If anybody has heard of this Please HELP ME OUT THANKS !

mayb the fork for the throw out bearing is not seating right and its causing the disc not to disengage completely...re check your installation...something might be binding or jammed...

I Noticed The Bracket That Connects The 2 Cables By The Trani Is Broken They Dont Seem To Be Moving But Maybe When I Go To Shift It May Move Slightly Causing Less Pressure To The Shift . Because I Noticed The Other Cable Aside From The Gear Cable Allows The Shifter To Go From Gear To Gear Or Should I Say Side To Side . Maybe Tht Bracket Has Some Play And Its Messing With How Much I Can Move The Shift Knob Over To 5th And Reverse .

IT ONLY DOES THIS FOR 5TH AND REVERSE EVERY OTHER GEAR GOES RITE IN SMOOTH SO IF IT WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE DISC NOT DISENGAGING IT WOULD AFFECT ALL GEARS WOULDNT IT ?

Thanks For The Info And Opinions Guys I Will Keep You Posted If I Get To Figure This One Out And If U Here Anything Else Or If U Have Any Other Ideas Let Me Know

Thanks !!!!!

Sounds like the cables are moving.

dood do NOT force it into gear. you will cause huge damage forcing the tranny to get in gear. i cant give you any other advice other than just dont force it. if it doesnt want to go in let it be. you have fourth and that is good enough to keep you at 50.. its not hard to avoid major highways until the problem is fixed.
