ss sc shifter works on ls

had to modify a few things but i think it was worth it. took me about an hour to get everything working. if anyone is interested ill post pics and a how to

Yeah, I got mine on eBay for cheap too. I think ours are shorter than the SS ones.

wow is it me or is that shifter all in the air, i think i will keep my cavi shifter too, mine is nice and low, and fully functional, except for the reverse lockout of coarse , but good makin it happend, so does the RLO work?

no the reverse lockout doesnt work, we dont have the same shifter assembly as the ss. but yes it sits way to high in the air, i can almost touch the radio lol.

"just because you can do it, doesnt mean you should"

so in that case i started over and made a better one pictures of my custom shifter later

well....

i bought the entire shifter assy and the two clips that hook up to the shifter assy and the cables. it all fits with a few adjustments to the cables. i just couldnt get it to really shift right. first went fine but 2nd felt two short and so did 4th. reverse lockout worked but i really didnt need to use it. the shifter looked bad ass but i changed it out because of a fear of breaking something. like was said before just cause you can doesnt mean you should. i have pics if anyone wants to see.
