mine is 72k km. stage 2, 2.85", header and exhaust, cobra, urethane mounts. previous owner had stage 2 axles and slicks, it went through enough runs at the track, lots of screwing around on the street, ive done some autocrossing, its holding great.

Got 18,000 on mine now with the below mods and some random stoplight racing, but not much. I'm considering getting the harrop tvs 1320 so I'm sure once that goes on the stock clutch will go. Doing well so far though...

I got about 50k on my stock clutch. Lots of aftermarket stuff on my car (obviously) but the car has only been in for broken wheelstuds.

I've got 31000+ miles on mine and it is still going strong. It even holds well with the tvs installed. Guess it depends on what you get from the factory and what kind of driver you are.

i have about 32,000 miles on mine.

the stock clutch is not bad. yea, some are bad from the factory. but majority of the clutch problems are because people don't know how to drive, and when you try to help them and give them good advice to become a better driver they say something like "yo, i got the mad driver mod, it aint my fault".

then they post videos, and you can hear how bad they're slipping the clutch, probably don't even realize what they're doing is bad. but anyways, that's that.

Ya know i just actually had this issue recently come up kinda....When get on it from 1st to 2nd it feels like its not all the way wanting to ingage fully. Like its slipping or riding the clutch, but as soon as i let off the gas a bit it goes back to normal like it should....BUT when i slow down my shifting a bit it acts like normal as well. This is not my 1st stick..Drove a Zx2 for about a year plus bikes etc etc etc..So i know what i am doing..Any input? Is there any kind of adjustment with these clutchs? I just bought the car and it was a trade in at 25,000 miles

O and as well as when was at school learning about transmissions if the stock clutch was thought to be slipping, the book said to put it in 5th and floor it and if the rpm jumps this means that its slipping..my car does not do this....Would it be possiable that the throw out bearing is going bad or what?

in this case, it's not the car, it's the driving. you can't tough the gas until the clutch is FULLY engaged. otherwise it will slip. this car is very different than other cars, and takes some gettig used to. i know, i know, it can't be the driving, heard it a million times. but trust me, it is. but it's an easy fix, so don't worry about it.

most people don't downshift, they throw it in neutral. i've had people think i was a ricer for blipping the throttle on a downshift, they thought i was just trying to rev my exhaust at people like a honda. that same person will swear up and down that they know how to drive a manual car.

and most people also don't know how to rev match. most people rev the gas and slowly let out the clutch to get going from a stop in normal driving. most people burn the clutch, UNKNOWINGLY because they use the clutch to make shifting "smooth".

i'm to the point where i'm sick of giving advice and genuinely trying to help people, because they just call you an ass and a know it all. they know everything there is about driving a manual, it's the cars fault, not theirs, they know what they're doing.

that about sums up majority (not all) of the site's driving. look through the posted videos and you'll see what i mean. most people probably don't even know they're doing something wrong, because they taught themselves improperly or someone else taught them the wrong way.
