Wasn't it just posted that it is a bad idea to have rotated trans mount and the upper motor mount from TTR?

Yea did I say I was going to use them both at the same time?

Sometimes you have to test stuff to see how it works for you lol.

^^ there wont be any gain...just a loss in money, extra vibrations, and extra wear on your new mounts

^^ thats seems logical. im pretty confident that the stg2 mount will eliminate all wheelhop, but if more remains, you can look at your remaining options

Haha... how do you think it won't be bad?

With both sets of mounts... they will be fighting each other! The stiff TTR mount is gonna wanna hold the engine at the stock angle. It is stiff and does not really flex.

The OTTP Rotated mounts are pretty stiff as well, and they are gonna wanna hold the engine/trans at the CORRECTED angle.

Exactly. If anything, running the TTR mount will take AWAY from the angle of the OTTP Rotated Mounts, and your car will actually perform WORSE than it would have with the stock upper mount.

If you want looks... then take your stock upper mount off to polish and paint it.

These rotated mounts have been tested long and hard and they work.

The mounts were tested on a Cobalt SS/SC converted to Turbo... Sitting still, the car was revved to 4k rpm, and the clutch was dumped... nothing but wheel spin.

Car's in storage now... so I am not running anything right now. As soon as the car hits the streets with its new setup, I'll be running Stg2 Rotated Mounts only.

Rotated Mounts are THE way to eleminate the destructive force known as Wheel Hop.

Rotated Mounts, however, won't do the same thing as an LSD. Not even close. What is it that you think an LSD does? My car Wheel Hopped WORSE with an LSD than it did with the open diff.

Yeh, thank god for winter storage and winter beaters haha!! Im so fing excited to gett mine out of storage and do some more work on it. Even though ingalls isnt goign to do anything with the OTT mount, does it matter if I just keep it on for looks. I find lots of people comment on it kinda engine dress. opnions?

I don't think the Ingall's will matter/make a difference. Personally, I'd sell it and buy something else with the money.

If you wanna keep it for looks... that's on you. Money well spent to me is when they see my taillights ripping away from them and say, "Damn it"... not when they see my Engine Bay and say, "Sweet".

I'd get rid of it and put a Hatrickstu mod in there. Oh wait... that is what I did.

And $100 bucks is $100 bucks. If you want something for the bling effect... get your Valve Cover and S/C powdercoated with that $100. I get a lot more comments for my painted S/C than I ever did for the Ingall's.

Haha... it doesn't help to search once and a while. I can't lay it ALL on the plate for you.

Besides, it took me 10 seconds to hit search and find it.
