We the knob that comes with the shifter slips in my hand when it gets sweaty and i'll miss a shift or two at the strip, i want something like johnny in full effects

with either knobs though, is shifting easier (with out the sweat)

definatly. For the first week or so i was just running threw the gears all the time.

I got the shifter and its prety much installed. I just need to put all the center console pieces back. I took it for a test drive and its deffinitely different, I'm gonna have to get used to it. pics as soon as its not dark or raining outside.

ya about the pics...I'm really lazy right now Trying to get the zipties back through the shift boot was a pain in the a$$, so I just tied them around the outside. The way I did it they arent visible. Does anyone else get a little play with the shifter?

Ok had the shifter for a few days now with no problems. Today for some reason when I would go into second it wouldn't put it into gear. Has anyone else ever had that happen to them? It just felt like it put it into neutral, like it wasn't catchin. It's only when goin into second from first. I let my stepdad drive it and he had no problems, he even managed to peel out and chirp second. I haven't changed the way I drive, but obviously something Im doin caused it. Weird....
