Be wary of GM dealerships

So yea,

Rick Hendrix Chevrolet in GA are a bunch of tards. I've fought with them so many times its not even funny on alot of issues. Anyhow....

I asked for the manual Trans fluid for the 05 ss/sc to measure viscosity compared to mobil 1 75w-90 synthetic and they say they have it in the back.

Out pops some Dexron III ATF. Im like wtf dude? Its for an F23 trans not my F35. So they look at me dumbfounded, type on the computer a bit and say "oh sorry that is a special order and only gives a part #". I even gave them the Castrol Burmah 0064 that it was.

K, done ranting, screw the dealership and stick with Cobaltss.net

What he said.

Basically the clutch and brakes are off the same reservoir.

Yup GM makes a huge difference

I took my 07 SS to a GM not Chevy dealer because I used to have a 99 Trans Am and had good luck with them. Bad decision on my part.... They changed out the motor mount and it took them literally two weeks. My car is in there for the clutch right now and it took them two weeks to tell me that it was the clutch and not something else! I can't seem to get antyhing right with them

Its amazing how they offer "quick fixes" for stuff NOT under warranty, but when it comes to a warranty they need to be 100000% sure.

So if it is out of MY pocket, no loss.... if it's theirs, "hold the phone"

I had my dealer replace my fluid with the Saturn Fluid... it feels much better than what it originally had in it!
