i dont know what happened with the three threads it just came out that way. my buddy has a 05 ss/sc. his clutch burned up at the track last friday. he buying another one here soon. i have been told that the transmissions are compressed to the block and to replace the clutch you have to take it to the shop that has the tools to do it. i dont know how exaclty true that is, i am wondering if you have to do that. if not ill just use my tools to do it since i was a mechanic about the time these cars came out and i left for the marine corps so i can go to iraq. its been a while since i turned wrenches on cars. so i dont know about these cobalts at all. well at least the transmission parts.
