Every auto trans in every type of Cobalt is the 4T45E.

You don't need custom parts, they already exist. Much the same way as that description of the 4t60. IPT can get them all. My trans is basically the same build as that one.

 

I plan on getting my transmission rebuilt by them.

 

well has said the j-bodies had the 4t453 also , but nothing ever said how to tell 1 from the other , or if there even was a difference

so i put the 40/45 in there just in case they did the same with the cobalts

 

how much power do you all think would be safe if i just got a better tq convertor and tarnny cooler?
