the guy that had my turbo before me dynoed 380whp... with a trifecta tune... on pump gas. trifecta isnt the garbage you guys are saying it is.

if i didnt have a good tuner near me, id be on trifecta.

 

Pretty much this. I think the hate behind trifecta is partly due to band waggoning.

 

This dyno sheet shows that his tune is fail, it may be a hit or miss with trifecta but this was a miss.

 

why does the hp and tq drop off like a fat kid running a marathon?? Wouldnt you want a more even build all the way to redline?

 

Thats great and all but also need to look at other stuff besides power.

How "clean" are trifecta tunes? Are knock, STFT, LTFT, AFR all kosher?

 

That **** is about as kosher as a jewish family sitting down to enjoy a freshly fire roasted pig.

 

Also, the first tune that Vince sends you is a basemap. He is tune you if you can log it properly and don't have any issues with your vehicle.

I love when people load on a basemap and say it is tuned. It reminds me of a lot of Honda/Diesel people. Take a bullydog or whatever brand programmer they have and load the stage file on and call it tuned...
